How do you check a profile-image result?
Copy the complete public profile URL, submit it and compare any returned avatar with the intended account. The result must contain an avatar field. A post thumbnail or a photo gallery is not substituted for a missing profile picture.
Why can a public profile return no result?
Many download providers handle individual post URLs but do not implement profile lookups. A public profile URL can pass the domain check and still have no supported image result. This is a feature limitation, not evidence that you need to supply a password.
If your goal is to save a video or photo post, open that post and use the main downloader with its own share URL. This page does not collect every post from an account.
Can a small avatar become a full-size original?
No. The available profile asset may already be resized or compressed. The tool does not reconstruct the original uploaded picture or guarantee a particular resolution. Check the actual dimensions of the saved file before using it.
What are appropriate uses of a saved avatar?
Permission still matters. Do not use another person’s profile image to impersonate them or imply their endorsement. Refer to copyright and responsible use when deciding whether you may reuse the image.
How do you avoid saving the wrong account image?
Compare the exact account handle in the URL with the account you intended to view. Display names can be shared by unrelated accounts, and an avatar can change after a provider caches profile information. If the returned image does not match, report the profile address and the mismatch without sharing account credentials.
This tool requires a field designated as an avatar and does not substitute a post cover when that field is absent. A provider designation is still not an identity verification service: an image resembling a person or business does not establish account ownership or endorsement.
