Follow this workflow from copying a public post link to checking the file on your device. You need a current browser, enough free storage and permission to save the media.

How do you copy and submit the right URL?
Open the individual TikTok post. Choose Share and then Copy link, or copy the address of the open post in your desktop browser. Open SSSTikTok, paste the address into the URL field and press Download.
Paste only the web address if the share text also contains a caption. When clipboard access is denied, use your device’s normal Paste command. You do not need to enable notifications, install an extension or enter a TikTok password for this workflow.
Which result should you choose?
Choose video for the moving picture, audio for a returned sound track, or an image button for a photo asset. Formats can differ between posts. A missing button usually means that option was not returned; it is not a hidden premium feature.

Where do you find a file on a phone?
On Android, check the browser’s Downloads list and your file manager’s Downloads folder. Media can take time to appear in a gallery, and appearing in Downloads does not guarantee it has been imported into a photo app.
On iPhone or iPad, check the browser’s downloads and the Files app. The selected download location may be on the device or in iCloud Drive. If the downloaded video offers a Save Video action in its share menu, that can add a compatible file to Photos. Browser versions and file types affect which actions appear.
Where do you find a file on a computer?
Open the Downloads panel in your browser or the folder selected in its settings. Windows, macOS and Linux browsers can use different locations. If you are asked where to save, choose a folder you can identify later.
A browser may open a video or image instead of forcing an attachment download. Use its media save control when available. Do not save the HTML page and assume it is the media file.
How do you confirm the download finished?
Check that the browser no longer reports an active or failed download. Open the local file, check the content and duration, and confirm that the storage location is available offline. If the file is incomplete, verify free storage and network stability before trying a fresh result.

What if the browser plays the file instead of saving it?
A source host or browser can choose inline playback. Look for the player menu or the browser’s normal save control. On a phone, saving a file in Downloads and importing it into Photos or Gallery can be separate actions. Wait until the download indicator finishes before closing the tab.
If a transfer fails, check free storage and the browser’s download list. Use a browser that supports the returned media format; do not install an unknown extension or disable device security to force a download. For a post you own, keep the original recording alongside any downloaded copy.
