How do you save images from a photo post?

Why does a saved photo look different from the preview?
Previews may crop an image to fit a card. The saved asset can have a different aspect ratio or resolution. Open the downloaded file before judging whether part of the image is missing.
The provider determines which image renditions are available. The tool does not recreate an original camera photo, remove text baked into an image or make a small source genuinely high resolution. An image may arrive as JPEG, WebP or another source format; the actual file type matters more than a suggested filename.
What if a photo is missing or repeated?
Compare the returned set with the original post. A cover image is not proof that all slides were retrieved. The source or provider can return an incomplete collection or more than one version of an image.
Try copying the post link again. If the result remains incomplete, report the expected and returned image counts using the contact page. Avoid sending private photographs or account credentials.
Can you save a photo from a private account?
This workflow is for supported public posts and does not log in on your behalf. A link visible to you inside a signed-in account may still be inaccessible to the downloader. See supported links and formats before repeatedly retrying.
Check permission before downloading or using another person’s image. An unbranded photo is not an ownership transfer.
How can you organize and check a multi-image download?
Create a folder for the post and number local filenames after comparing the images with the source order. Count the files you actually saved, not just the previews on this page. Similar thumbnails can be different crops, while different filenames can contain the same image. Open both before deciding that one is redundant.
Check orientation, transparency and dimensions in an image viewer before cropping or converting. The preview card may crop an otherwise complete photo. Converting to JPEG can remove transparency and introduce compression, so preserve the downloaded asset until you have inspected the edited version.
